Father's Day began with homemade cards from the boys for Mark and then off to church where the Primary and the Youth did a really nice musical number. The kids sang Daddy's Homecoming and then the youth joined in for We'll Bring The World His Truth.
After church I think we took a nice Sunday nap and then headed over to Mark's parent's for dinner. We sure are grateful for Mark. Brian and Timmy have the best dad ever! They are so blessed.
They love him with all their little hearts and they learn so much from him. Here they are teaching him their gymnastics warm-up moves.
By far their favorite thing in the world to do is wrestle with him. They go and go and go (especially Timmy) until all three are sweaty and exhausted. It is quite entertaining to watch.
This Father's Day my heart was especially filled with gratitude for my own Dad. A few weeks earlier he was in a terrible motorcycle accident while doing humanitarian work in Peru. The picture below was before the accident. It is a complete miracle that he is alive. In fact, there were lots of little miracles following the accident that brought him home to us. I am so grateful for him. He is my hero in so many ways.
