June 2023

School ended and my new SBOs helped with the ground breaking for the new teen center going to be constructed at the high school.

Then it was off to the 3 day USU Leadership Conference with all 28 Student Government kids. It was fun and exhausting and overwhelming, but a great way to dive right in to being a new advisor.

Mark was so kind enough to come help. I didn't know any other adults at the school to help so we left the boys at the ranch and he joined us. The kids LOVED having him there.

After the conference we found some good eats with Luke and Sunny.

Timmy enjoyed the roses.

I took the boys to do baptism at the temple

Then we visited Grandma Joycie.

Family visits!

We got a Frame TV. I love it.

Mark and the boys made more improvements to the house. Mark took the beams we had to remove form the main bedroom to make a shelf for the living room.

I found a recipe from my Grandma Cannon (Mommy Cannon). I will always remember her handwriting.

We visited Mark's work and played shuffle board.

Mark was in charge of Trek this year so I started helping him prepare. One of the activities was learning the Ukulele so Mark ended up buying a whole bog full of Ukuleles for a great price. That is such a Mark thing to do.

We visited the ranch. It is so beautiful there in June.

More good eats with Luke and Sunny!

Then it was off to Trek! We got to be there as a family which was super great! It went well. It was a lot of work for Mark. I helped with what I could.

Not pictured in June were other things like morning tennis lessons for Timmy and cross country practices for Brian, Stake Conference weekend, Father's Day, etc.
