Outdoor Fun

Horsey, horsey on your way,
We've been together for many a day.

"I want to eat the saddle horn"

Our family took a fun little hike to a Uinta lake where Mark fished and we had a nice picnic. I just could not let a summer go by without at least one Uinta hike.

It was the perfect day, not too hot and not too cold.

Brian even got to take a nice little nap.

Cousins

Evan, Clayton, Brigham, Isaac, Vivien, Brian, Clara

Brian now has ten cousins counting both sides of the family. My sister Emily and her three boys have been at the ranch for a few months and it has been so fun to be able to be with all the cousins throughout the summer. Brian is actually much happier when he is with the kids because they are so entertaining. He can't wait until he can get up and play with them!

Happy Birthday Boo!

My little sister Mandy (aka: Boo) turned 21 last week! Because she's the youngest of the five sisters, I think we'll always think of her as the baby and the favorite. We celebrated with the family over the weekend and it was the first time in a long time that all the sisters were together for her Birthday. Happy Birthday Mandy!

The nieces and nephews had a blast decorating her cake with Grandma.

To top off the already fun day, Dad took the girls (and Brian) over to the Baja Cantina in Park City. Mmmmm, me gusta la Baja Cantina!

Our Four Month Munchkin

I can't believe Brian is already four months old. All those ladies were right when they said he'd grow so fast. I am loving his age because he's usually pretty happy and he is finally sleeping through the night. He went to the doctor today and he's as healthy as can be. He weighs 14 pounds 12 ounces and is 26 inches long. He only cried while getting his immunizations, but was otherwise very happy to talk to the doctor (a huge change from the last three visits).
