May 2025

We started May remembering Mark's dad. We miss him.

I went to the temple early on a beautiful Saturday morning. This is the view on the way out as the sun came up. I really love going on Saturday mornings. I always get to see my friends I made when I was working there. I am grateful for the time I had to work there and all I learned.

I went with Timmy to see Madame Butterfly with the music department.

.

Some student made me a sign for Teacher Appreciation. They left the "g" out in Organized, but it's still cute.

Brian was asked to DJ the Senior Dinner Dance. He did an amazing job and got paid!

We got up to the ranch to try to spend some time with Matthew before he headed out on his mission in June. Always nice when cousins can get together.

Timmy played tennis at state I think.

The Student Government helped with the annual family community night.

Timmy and Mark cooked a whole lot of taco meat for the tennis team banquet.

My mom and Alice came down for the boy's spring concert. This will be the last time they play in orchestra together.

The orchestra had an auction for fundraising. My mom won the sports package with the BYU football characters in it.

Brian got the Triple Threat award at school! This means he was one of 5 students to be varsity in three sports that year. He did Cross Country, Swim, and Track.

I helped with Senior Sunset.

Mark and the boys played tennis during the Senior Sunset.

Another beautiful morning temple trip.

We took Timmy to Korean BBQ for his birthday. He is one happy guy

It was Memorial day weekend and we didn't have any travel plans. Last minute we decided to take the RV for one night to find our friends, the Cookes, at Capitol Reef. We had to take Pip because Alice was in Taiwan. Pip doesn't love the RV but she survived.

We found the Cooke's campsite while they were out on a hike and surprised them by parking the RV next to their car.

They were so generous to let us crash their camping trip.

We got Timmy a pie for his birthday.

The Cookes were even so nice to do a hike with us that they had already done the day before.

We are blessed to have such great friends that don't mind surprise camping trip crashing.

It looks like Timmy had several days of birthday celebrations. Pizzeria Limone is another one of his favorites.

We had an end of year Student Government party at our house and said goodbye to our seniors.

And I ended the month at the temple again. I'm so grateful for the time I can be there. May is always a very busy month. I found my calm and peace in the temple.
