Our family has just returned from an incredible ten day vacation to Taiwan, paid for by these two fabulous people, Mark's parents. . .
. . .in order to visit this tiny little lady in the middle, Mark's paternal grandmother.
Mark's Nai Nai turned 98 years old while we were there, and she has been wishing to meet Brian who is one of two great grandsons to carry the Hsiao name. Mark's dad offered to take all of his children and their children to meet her and it was the best time for us to go before baby number two arrives. Overall it was one of the most treasured experiences of my life, and I cannot thank Daniel and Alice enough for their willingness to take us. I have so many pictures and so many things I want to record forever. However, my jet lagged pregnant body in company with a jet lagged toddler whose days and nights are completely messed up, demand my attentions elsewhere. There will be a detailed travel log hopefully soon. In the meantime you may know that we arrived home safely and had the experience of a lifetime.

I'm so jealous! (not about the jet lag, though). Can't wait to hear more about it!
Hey, you're home! I was wondering if you guys were back yet. We were just up in your neckof the woods checking out a house. When you are recovered call me, I can't wait to hear all about the trip.
Can't wait to hear more about your trip! How did Brian do on the LONG plane ride? Hopefully you guys get feeling back to your normal selves again soon.
how cool! I bet you had an amazing time!
I can't wait to hear all about it! Brian wants to know how much money Mark won at ma jong (that is the best I am going to get at spelling it).
I thought Mandy's comment from Brian was from your son and not Mandy's husband! Things are clicking now.
Anyway, these pictures make me a bit homesick, and by homesick I mean nostalgic. The CKS Memorial brings back memories. Can't wait to talk to you about it and see some awesome pictures.
Welcome back!
can't wait to hear all about it! what an opportunity that must have been. hope you get your energy back soon.
Jenny how cool that you got to go there-I think you left the day after I saw your parents in San Diego. It was really neat to see your mom and had to keep myself from crying-I'm a baby basically! Let me know when you come down to visit them, it has been way too long since we have gotten together!
So. Jealous.
not of flying with a 1-year-old and pregnant - but everything else. . .
You look amazing and I can't wait to hear all about it.
Looks like fun, I look forward to hearing more about it!
