February started with Stake Conference and Brian's BYU scholarship applications due. 

Student Government put on several tailgates for the basketball senior nights and a special game to honor our previous athletic director that passed away. Here is a link to Greg Southwick's Obituary

As SBO Dance Officer, Brian planned for and oversaw decorating for our Sweethearts Dance.

Brian went to Sweethearts with his friend Aida.

Timmy went with his friend Mia.

It was a fun dance with DJ John!

And my Assistant Advisor, Toni, had her sister come sell jewelry.

We had friends over to celebrate Chinese New Year.

I had a beautiful temple visit and a nice stop to say hello to Daniel.

The Hsiao family came over for New Year's and we ended up doing some fun Karaoke.

I enjoyed a quick visit to the ranch. I had to run up the hill to catch a sunset picture. Viewing sunsets from this hill is truly one of my favorite things in the world!

Mark hosted his team of coworkers here in Utah.

Timmy went to the temple with friends super early before school.

For one of Mark's coworker events, they planted and learned about bonsai trees. Many of the coworkers could not take their trees home because they live around the world, so Mark kept them at our house. This is Mark's new hobby. He has a whole bonsai tree garden.

Then Brian got his mission call on February 23! It was a Monday evening. He got the text on his way home after swimming practice. He just wanted to open it with family. Alice and Sunny and Luke live close, so they came over and we had my family join on a zoom call. It was a beautiful experience!

Then 2 days later the boys and I headed off to Ecuador for the CHOICE Jr. Board Expedition!
