Just a Few Things We've Been Doing

We went to the Zoo with Vivian, her kids and Nai Nai.  Mark was able to meet us there after getting home from his business trip (he has been traveling for work 3-4 days a week for the past 4 weeks). It was the first time he's been to the Zoo with us even after two years of season passes.  It was a beautiful day.

We celebrated my 28th Birthday. Brian helped me blow out the candles. Then Mandy and her husband Brian (they are currently renting our basement apartment) stayed with the kids while Mark and I went out for a much needed date.  Thank you Mandy and Brian and thank you Mom for the gift card!  It was a very nice Birthday.

It has been so fun to watch Brian learn about holidays and seasons.  He loves pumpkins and asks to get another one every time we go to any store and asks to go to the pumpkin patch daily.  He also loves going on walks and crunching leaves with his feet.  When he sees the leaves falling down he says "It's Fall time Mommy."  He just can't wait to carve his pumpkins and put candles inside.

Brian has also been really into art projects lately.  I've actually been quite surprised at his abilities and his attention span.  I need more ideas to keep up with him!  If any of you have great art and craft ideas for an inquisitive two-year-old let me know.

The weather has been beautiful, but it will soon be cold.  We have been trying to spend as much time outside as we can.  Besides the hours spent in our backyard, the tractors at Wheeler Farm always make Brian happy.

We've been trying on our Halloween costumes. . .
. . .and our cute new outfits from Nai Nai.  Life is good.

I LOVE the four pumpkins that you have for each member of the family. Post pictures when you do carve them. I'm excited to see them!

Also, those matching outfits that Brian and Timmy have on are ADORABLE! Nai Nai treats them well. :)

I loved seeing the boys in their Halloween costumes. The boys' smiles are so adorable! Have Brian save his artwork to show me on SKYPE. It looks like the boys have been having a great time (hopefully not exhausting you). Brian looks pretty happy to ride the merry-go-round with Papa.
