HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK

When I think about Mark and what I love about him, a thousand things come to mind. Rather than try to write 26 things I love about him (I just can't decide on 26) I thought you could get to know him a little by reading 26 things Mark is (or should be called). He is the most well rounded person I know and is all of the following and more.

Mark is a/n. . .

1. Husband: He takes care of me, loves me, spends time with me, and just makes life fun!

2. Father: Even as a father for only 5 weeks, he has proven to be the best. My heart melts when I see him with Brian.
3. Uncle: All the nieces and nephews adore Mark. Aunt Jenny is forgotten when Uncle Mark is around. 4. Brother: All his siblings love to be around him and they have such a great relationship with him.

5. Son: Mark's parents are always calling to talk to Mark to ask him questions, get his opinion on something or just to see what he is up to. In my opinion they couldn't ask for a better son.

6. Technology Guru: Mark knows anything and everything about any piece of technology out there, which makes life for me as a technology idiot much easier.

7. Mr. Fix-It: He really can fix anything from computers to cars to washing machines.

8. Priesthood Holder: Mark holds and honors his priesthood and has a rock solid testimony.

9. Young Men's Leader: Whether he is the president or a counselor, Mark is the ultimate Young Men's leader. The boys love him almost too much!
10. Car Mechanic: With the right tools and time, Mark can fix any car with any problem. What a way to save money!

11. Computer Technician: He fixes computers, he builds computers, he accumulates old computers and basically lives computers at work and at home. How he knows so much about them I have no idea.

12. Welder: Mark loves to weld and he even made his own car bumpers.

13. Wood Worker: Not only is he good with metal but with wood as well. He's made things like shelves for our house and the piano stand for my electric piano.

14. Bike Mechanic: He can fix any bike and build them too. He created his own electric bike as well as, my favorite, the tandem.
15. Fisherman: Mark is (or used to be) a die hard fisherman. He'll drag me out even in the coldest of cold weather to fish. 16. Online Shopper and Salesman: Mark can always earn some extra spending money by buying and selling things online. He knows the tricks to both getting good deals and to selling anything.

17. Ping Pong Star: If you didn't know, Mark was once sponsored to play ping pong. He even has the ping pong muscle to prove it.

18. Plumber: He fixed all the broken frozen pipes in my parents house after a winter of not being used during their mission. Another great way to save money!

19. Bread Winner: Mark happily supports me in my decision to stay home with Brian after this school year is over. He is perfectly capable of providing for our family.

20. Basketball Player: Mark loves basketball and isn't happy if he doesn't get to play at least one night a week.

21. Barber: Most people don't know that Mark always cuts his own hair.

22. People Person: He knows how to make people feel comfortable and can make us laugh.

23. Model: Mark has a knock-out smile.

24. Linguist: He speaks three languages fluently (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) and is open to learning others such as Spanish.

25. Adventurer: Mark is always willing to try new and adventurous things. I'm still wondering if I ever should have introduced him to Elephant Hill. :)

26: Friend: I will forever consider him my best friend!

Happy 26th Mark!

More Brian Pics

Brian is just over 5 weeks now and his double chin is as double as ever, and his hair still automatically sticks straight up. What a cute kid!

Wedding

Mark's brother got married yesterday. It was Brian's first day out all day long. Both of us were exhausted by the end, but all in all it was a very nice day. There will be more pictures to come when I get copies of the Hsiao family pictures.

Mark's New Ride

Supposedly to save money on gas, Mark decided to buy and fix up this motorcycle. I'm calling it a Birthday present. It is fun to see how happy it makes him to work on it and with gas prices so high it does make sense for him to drive it to work everyday rather than the 4Runner.
