November 2024

November was busy. We made it to Chinatown for some good food. The Korean Hotdog place has a foosball table.

Timmy's tortoise, Tank, had some enjoyable time wandering the house.

Timmy and Mark made some beef noodle soup I think.

Out shopping.

The boys went to the temple with the young men.

Timmy started wearing jeans.

The boys played airsoft with friends at the ranch.

That same day we were invited with the Cookes to the Davis family suite at the the U for the BYU vs Utah game. It was pretty crazy. BYU won. It was also very very late when we got home. After airsoft in the morning and the game that night, we were all very tired the next day.

At school we started the Gold Rush Fundraiser activities. The SBOs did pie an SBO at lunch. Students paid to pie the SBOs.

We still enjoyed the hot tub.

Timmy went to his friend's birthday party.

The Juniors did a soda bar at lunch to earn money.

Brian joined the swim team!

Elder Carpenter and his wife came to dinner for Stake Conference. It was a special Stake Conference because we were combining with our stake that we used to live in. Mark and the stake presidency have been working on this for years. It's not an easy thing to merge two stakes. The other stake presidency was released and ours stayed the same. Mark has been so busy with this before and since.

Thanksgiving with the Hsiao family this year was delicious!

Jake's wife Jen is a master baker and she made all the pies! It was truly epic!

Mark and the boys went to a BYU game with friends.
