February started with one crazy goat selling weekend. I posted goats for sale on KSL classifieds and they were sold within two days. They went super fast. I ended up selling Penny, Polly, Peanut, Pebbles, Cinnamon Bun, Alfredo, Dobby, Diego, and Olaf.
We spent lots of time saying goodbye to all of them.
We went to our friend's house in Bountiful. Their view is the best I have ever seen!
Sam enjoyed some chicken pecking massages. He parks himself by their fence for that very purpose.
The weather got really Spring like and we did some work outside to prepare for planting.
We got a cello the boys have grown out of ready to sell.
Then the Spring weather turned to winter again (or really for the first time this year).
And we got dumped on hard!
Lots of people stayed home from school. The boys weren't too pleased that I had no problem plowing through the snow with my car to get them to school.
While they got their education Mark got to use the tractor to clear snow all day long. He basically took care of the entire ward.
I did a little tractor work too and made the boys one huge snow pile in the backyard. They were excited to dig a big fort when they got home from school.
We celebrated Chinese New Year on Valentine's Day. We had the Cooke's over for hot pot this year.
We have discovered our new favorite store that sells Chinese restaurant supplies.
Timmy gets in these organizing modes where he is super clean and organized and wants to remember everything and do everything perfectly. This was what I found one night when I went to say goodnight to him. The paper on his clothes laid out for the next day has numerous reminders to himself. My favorite is, "listen to mom!"
We have let Princess hang out with us in the house a few times. She is such a funny goat.
I did not approve of Timmy letting her jump onto the counter though! I did sanitize it right after!
February was a nice month. I have been planning the garden and preparing for Spring and Summer on the farm. This Spring I want to become a beekeeper. There is a lot to learn!
