December 2019

December started with me putting together our Christmas card.

The boys ran on the treadmill because they needed to do something physical and the air was horrible outside.

I visited Grandma Joyce and met my mom there to play Christmas music and eat lunch.

Mark learned a new way of tying flies. Then he caught some pretty big fish with them.

We played lots of Christmas music!

Mark was asked to set up Christmas Karaoke for two events in two days.  He set it up for the special needs activity he was in charge of and then for our ward Christmas party.

My young women were great at helping with the special needs Christmas party.

Timmy and Brian were good helpers too.  Timmy was the only one willing to say hi to santa though.

Both boys were good sports getting the Karaoke going at the ward party.

Later we went up to the ranch for the Samiclaus party.

They really wanted to dress like santa one day.

We made it for a quick trip to temple square with one of Mark's co-workers.

There were some beautiful sunrises in December!

I helped organize a youth activity at GetAir.

Timmy's Christmas program at school was really cute this year.

Mark taught the boys to punch correctly.

Another beautiful sunrise.

The Evans family put on a family concert for the residents at Grandma Joyce's care center.

Mark made a pretty amazing prime rib.

Christmas Eve Nativity!

The boys loved the Harry Potter advent calendar our friends gave us.

Christmas morning brought a nerf gun for Brian

And speed cubes and a gingerbread house for Timmy.

Both kids were so good at sharing their gifts with each other.

Timmy spent lots of time figuring out his cubes.

During the break we went to Laser Quest with the Hsiao family for laser tag.  It was so much fun!

Mark gave some good ping pong lessons too.

We ended the year with the young women over for an activity.

November 2019

November went crazy fast.  It is already December and I keep thinking it is still October. Brian wanted to do a family egg drop one afternoon.  We need a higher dropping point.  We couldn't even get those eggs to break!

Mark had to move his whole office.  He spent late nights and hours on the weekend setting up the new office.  We helped some. Well, the kids played around while I helped a little.

He took a break in office moving to get a little fishing in.  It was a well deserved break!

The YW helped with putting together stockings for kids for Christmas.

We visited Mark's friend's house to see his fish tank.  If you look closely you can see Timmy in there.

We love Pip.

I love the horses.

Brian loves to read.

Sometimes I walk to the bus with him.

We took the boys with us to the youth service activity both Mark and I needed to attend one Saturday.  We helped get all the stuff ready for Festival of Trees.  Brian is there pricing baby blankets.

The kids had their orchestra concert.  They sounded great!

Broom hockey with the youth.

Mark's cousins and kids came to visit!  It was so fun to see them!

Nerf wars were the thing!

I couldn't not take a picture of those three smiling guys at Nai Nai's house!

Thanksgiving preparations!

It was a very great day full of family, gratitude and good food!

And Luke taught Timmy how to solve a Rubik's cube.  Timmy was in heaven!

The day after Thanksgiving all the Hsiao family went home and I took the boys to the ranch for some snow filled fun with the Evans cousins.  The snow was amazing!!!

Back at home the boys continued working on solving the speed cube because Mark ordered a nice one. Timmy learned on a free cube he got as a prize from school and he could not believe how easy the new one is to turn.
