September 2025

September started with the Senior Sunrise activity. Our seniors wanted to make everyone pancakes. I let them do it, but it didn't turn out as well as they wanted. We decided that premade donuts and muffins are the way to go for Senior Sunrise!

Brian looks tired here. I think because he and some friends had a long night sleeping under the stars to start his senior year. He still worked hard to make it a fun event.

The sunrise didn't disappoint!

At home we took passport renewal photos. I didn't know when we would need them next so we went ahead with getting them done. Timmy's passport has bleached hair.

We spent some time in the hot tub together.

Brian caught this cool lighting photo.

There was another football game. This time USA themed.

Mark helped with his 25 year reunion at Cottonwood.

The girls tennis team held their senior night.

Back for more Itto Sushi.

There was a huge Yellow Jacket nest in the ground in the barn. Spraying poison down in the nest did nothing. So Mark helped me get the wet vac with some water and soap and I went to town vacuuming up all the yellow jackets and then digging out the nest all together. So glad to have that taken care of. Yellow Jackets are no joke.

We went to a few volleyball games to support some friends.

One of Luke's trees in his backyard had fallen to be resting on his roof. Mark and the boys set to taking it down.

Mark got the tree down with no damage to the house. However, on his last cut, he didn't pay close enough attention and tapped the chain saw on his knee. He had to go to the emergency room and got over 30 stitches to put it back together.

The boys and I went with the CHOICE Junior Board to volunteer at the CHOICE Gala again this year.

Our friend Jim's book came out and Timmy and I read it. It is fantastic!

School pictures came in September. Timmy is a Sophomore.

Brian is a Senior.

Student Government put on a color chalk war to raise some money. Then everyone wore their colors to the football game afterward.

Mark cooked all the pork for an Elder's Quorum party.

I went to the temple one early morning.

Mark and I finally decided to put real shelving in our closet.  This is how it has been for a few years.

So we cleaned it all out and went to IKEA!

A few days later thanks to Mark, it looked like this! I LOVE it!

We had a little bite to eat while we were at IKEA.

The last day in September was the beginning of Homecoming week. We had the powderpuff game. The boys were the cheerleaders and the girls played football. It was really fun!

August 2025

August and school hit like a ton of bricks! Brian got home from Cambodia bringing Timmy a cool tie. Apparently he needed help trying that tie.

Brian had severe jet lag and literally could not wake up. It took him a few weeks to adjust back to Utah time.

The Student Government school prep began! Welcome poster making day!

SBO parking spot painting nights mornings and days!

Student Government helped with the Freshman BBQ.

Mark made some delicious bread.

And we got to celebrate our favorite dude's 3rd birthday!

August 12th was the first day of school. We helped to give out schedules for those first two days. It is fun to have both boys with me in Student Government this year!

Then we had the big Hello Assembly! It was a great success! Our SBOs this year are amazing along with the rest of Student Government!

The first football game had an awesome turnout! Our Stampede officers work hard to get attendance at games up!

This is Brian's last year to run the flags!

Mark held a stake youth BBQ in our backyard that first weekend after school started. Luckily he and his stake youth leaders take care of it because I am so exhausted the first weekend after school starts.

We took one evening to hang out as a family in the Amis' pool and hot tub.

This is how we felt after the first week of school. Ready to sleep.

And eat.

Thank goodness for beautiful sunsets to bring a little gratitude into my life.

And grateful for the temple to bring me peace.

Looks like we went out for some Pho. Yummy!

The monthly CHOICE Jr Board meetings began. Brian is the president the year.

We had Lifetouch do our Student Gov photos this year. They said they would do them for free.

We went to Itto for the best sushi ever.
