April 2025

The Minecraft movie came out at the beginning of April. Timmy went with his buddies.

Pip had a good snooze on the carpet. She is getting older and sleeping a lot now.

Mark became an official coach.

Timmy fell asleep with his Physics book. AP Physics as a Freshman is no joke.

We watched General Conference.

Then on Sunday afternoon we drove with my mom to the Provo airport to take a plane to California for a Spring Break vacation. Sadly our plane was cancelled and we had to come back home and then go super early the next morning. But we made it and had such a wonderful trip with Grandma! The boys will always love the beach no matter how old they are or how cold it is outside! We stayed a night in Newport Beach to enjoy the ocean.

I do love that these two are friends and can enjoy time together.

Grandma wanted to take us to a Medieval jousting tournament. We didn't know fully what to expect, but we actually had a really great time!

It was an excellent show with some beautiful well trained horses!

The next morning we went to the beach again before heading inland to Disneyland! This bird washed up on shore and could not walk. We called animal control to come take care of it.

The boys continued with their digging holes

And playing in the waves. We had the beach to ourselves since it was a bit chilly.

We took an Uber to our hotel across from Disneyland. We couldn't quite check in yet so the boys played in the swimming pool. We checked in and went walking to find some food.

Then we got a good sleep so that we could be ready to get up super early and get to the rope drop in Disneyland. The goal was to get on the Star Wars Rise of Resistance first thing before the crowds. We made to the front of the rope drop. Then we "walked" really fast and made it on with almost no wait at all. Grandma did pretty well keeping up with those boys!

Everything was so fun until we went up on this Ferris Wheel ride and we ended up in one of the rocking cages. Grandma and I started feeling so sick. We barely made it out while keeping our lunches inside.

The boys ended up loving the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. They also figured out that going in the single rider lane was so much faster for all the rides.

We had such a fun two days at Disneyland and California Adventure! My mom was so so kind to take us! I'm glad we had this time with her and that the boys can now say they have been to Disneyland.

The next morning we put our luggage in lockers and went to find some good food. We found a Taiwanese dumpling place that was decent.

While getting some snacks at the store, Brian got his ACT scores! He got a 32! Way to go Brian!

Then my mom took the boys to a racing simulation place. They really enjoyed it!

Then we hopped on the plane and came back home. What a lovely amazing vacation thanks to my mom!

Back at home it was all hands on deck to get ready for prom. My classroom started to look like a wedding venue as they put together their decorations.

Then we had the Talent Show Assembly. The Senior Class Officers did that assembly.

The other class officers were announced for next year and Timmy became the Sophomore Class Dance Officer. He will be working with Brian next year to put on the dances.

Then the date for prom arrived! Brian asked a girl from North Salt Lake that he met on the CHOICE Jr Board.

He also ended up taking over the prom decorations for the Juniors because the dance officer was struggling. They look great!

Sunny gave me some tulips that were growing in her yard.

Tennis continued onward and started to come to a close with senior night.

I made a nice trip to the temple.

One of our ward members got married and we all went to the reception at Wheeler Farm.

We had Culture Night at school. My Geography student did some projects to be presented.
