Through all of June, Brian and Timmy got up early and went to orchestra rehearsal each morning. Their concert was July 2. They were so fun to watch sitting up in front of the cello section as stand partners. It was a great experience.
Beginning of July garden growth.
We got to go up to the ranch for some airsoft fun again. This time with the Smith cousins.
Then the 4th of July arrived. We went to the parade this year.
Then I provided the entertainment at the big Cannon family reunion. I did horse rides on River, cart rides with the minis (until Rusty freaked out about the cows) and then the kids just decorated them into unicorns.
Later I tried to get Rusty used to the cows, but he would have none of it. Ray on the other hand made friends with them.
Back at the farm we did a family party.
Timmy found a Russian tortoise in our backyard. Through a series of event we ended up finding it's owner and she ended up giving the tortoise to Timmy. He named it Tank and he now lives in Timmy's room.
More unicorn parties!
And another farm camp.
Mark got a huge load of logs for the youth conference service project.
Then youth conference happened. Mark was in charge we had several events at our house. The first was a petting farm and a wood chopping and bundling service project.
The youth split wood and bundled it for families in the Stake.
They went to Olympic Park, watched a movie and played games at the Stake Center, played pickle ball, went rock climbing and then had a dinner and dance in our backyard.

Timmy got to participate in some since we were all helping with it.
He did have to miss out on Olympic Park because there were not enough spaces. Instead he helped set up the church for the movie and dinner. His reward was a special date with me to Outback.
My cousin and her family stopped by on their way through town. So good to see them!
Tank is a cool tortoise.
Pumpkins grew a lot!
We did not go to the Shakespeare Festival this year with my family, so I took the boys back to Olympic Park instead. They loved it.
Campfire at the ranch.
Mandy's cat had kittens! So fun to see them when we went to the Ranch.
The Kamas Rec Center has the best pool!
We enjoy having Mark's parents across the street.
More farm camps!
The boys played a lot of tennis,
River got his feet trimmed.
Unicorn birthday parties!
More kitten time at the Ranch!
We always enjoy saying hello to the ducks too.
July ended with a final Evans family party to celebrate Mandy and Isaac's birthday and to say goodbye to the Smiths who were heading back to Houston. I love summer family time at the Ranch.
